Despite the host team’s early elimination from the tournament, the Black Queens captain was the only Ghanaian who made it into the Best XI team in recognition of her outstanding performance in the competition.
Elizabeth, 25, who is also in contention for the CAF Women Player of the Year award, scored for Ghana in their 1-1 draw with Cameroun at the Group phase.
Bronze medal winners Cameroun dominated the list with four players namely, Mefourmetou Tcheno Falone, Feudjio Raissa, Ngo Ndoumbouk Marlyse and Gabrielle Onguene.
Runners-up South Africa had three players in the list, including Woman of the Tournament and Top Scorer, Thembi Kgatlana, alongside captain Janine Van Wyk and defender Lebohang Ramapele.
Nine-time Women’s AFCON champions, Nigeria, were represented by their captain, Onome Ebi, and enterprising goalkeeper Oluehi Tochukwu.
Bassira Toure was the only player from Mali who made the list.
