Dr Biney explained that his outfit had joined forces with Dogboe’s co-promoters, Rising Star Africa Promotions, to bring the fight live to Ghanaians in the comfort of their homes, as well as launch a hashtag #NehoMustWin to promote the fight.
Dogboe (20-0, 14 Kos) is expected to make his final ring outing for the year in a co-feature of the Vasyl Lomachenko-Jose Pedraza bout slated for the Madison Square Gardens on December 8.
Announcing the partnership deal at a media briefing in Accra yesterday, Dr Biney noted that the collaboration would see his outfit taking the content of the Dogboe-Navarrete fight to the continent of Africa.
He, however, expressed confidence in Dogboe to once again reign supreme at the world stage in order to make Ghana and the entire African continent proud.
“It is a partnership with Media 7 and the Rising Star Africa Promotions to have the Dogboe-Navarrete fight telecast live to the entire nation and Africa as a whole,” he said.
“We want Ghanaians to relax in the comfort of their homes and watch Dogboe win against Navarrete. With this, we are ready to collaborate with all the local televisions to telecast the bout live,” he added.
The co-Manager of Dogboe, Ellis Quashigah, lauded the partnership and entreated all Ghanaians to watch the fight as the Royal Storm got ready to destroy another Mexican opponent, having already dealt with Cesar Juarez and Jessie Magdaleno earlier this year.
The Treasurer of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Laud Acquaye, said they had monitored the prospect of Dogboe over the years and believed he would come out victorious against Navarrete in order to bring glory to the nation. Read Full Story
