The former President, while addressing delegates at the 9th National Delegates Congress of the NDC, asked them to “listen to themselves”.
In a rather terse address, quite uncharacteristic of him, the former President said; “I have only one sentence message . . . I can imagine how we would wish for the spirit of the old days . . . is it possible to bring it back? That can only happen if we cultivate the habit of listening to ourselves. I want to make an appeal that we listen to ourselves.”
Reacting to the former president's remarks during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Wednesday, Kweku Baako counseled Mr Rawlings to heed to his own advice.
“Mr Rawlings should cultivate the habit of listening to himself…the NDC including (former) President Mahama should also cultivate the habit of listening to themselves. It’s a note of caution relating to hypocrisy and double standards…Rawlings is an enigma but he was speaking the truth..." the seasoned journalist stated.
