The Dzodze edition registered 304 people who were interested in the race but had a total participation of 160 people, which are both the highest recorded since the race started from Kasoa to Amasaman before arriving at Dzodze.
The rough road motorbike tournament which is being organised by Bajaj Auto Limited and Somoco Ghana and powered by EXP Ghana is to demonstrate the ability of the companies’ Boxer X-125 motorcycle to conquer rough terrain by exhibiting its unique biking experience across the various biking communities in Ghana.
The race took place on Saturday, 3rd November but was preceeded by town activations with a demo van to educate the public on proper usage and maintenance culture from Thursday 1st to Friday 2nd November.
In all, there was a great display of showmanship and biking skills by the riders who all had to prove their worth to emerge as the ultimate OGBOO RIDER in the community but they all lost it to Burnito Wonder at the end of the competition.
The race heads to Ho from Dzodze, both in the Volta Region on the 10th November, 2018. This will be preceded by the usual town activations from 8th to 9th November to recruit interested persons who will want to be part of the race.
