Sierra Leone were last week suspended by FIFA due to government interference.
This was a huge blow to them as they have a 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ghana on Thursday, October 11, 2018, in Kumasi.
FIFA only agreed to lift the suspension if the SLFA President, Ms Isha Johansen, and SLFA General Secretary, Mr Christopher Kamara have confirmed to FIFA that the SLFA administration, premises, accounts and communication channels are under their control once again.
Reports indicate that the Sierra Leone government has agreed to reinstate the current Isha-led administration after a meeting today.
FIFA are expected to make a decision regarding their suspension as their game against the Black Stars is scheduled for Thursday. Read Full Story
