He said it was totally untrue that the international and reputable betting agency, which partners three other teams in Kenya, Uganda and South Africa, who are on top of their leagues and West Ham in the United Kingdom, would indulge in the manipulation of match results.
“So accusations that clubs associated with Betway never do well are just one off instances.
“This turns to undermine the credibility of our brand and those other brands, which may be sponsoring same club Betway may be sponsoring,” he insisted.
Nana Mills said this at a press conference organised by the management of Aduana Stars to announce the two sponsors of the club ahead of the CAF Champions clash with Al Tahadi from Lybia on Wednesday at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Sports Stadium.
