Marwako trial: Court to deliver judgement today

The Abeka District Court will today, July 26, deliver its judgment in the case involving the embattled Abelemkpe Branch manager of the Marwako fast foods limited and a staff.

Jihaad Chabaan is accused of attacking a former female staff of the restaurant with blended pepper.

The accused person was first arraigned on the 8th of March 2017 and was charged with three counts of causing harm, assault and offensive conduct. He, however, pleaded not guilty to all three counts at the first court sitting.

After four months of an open court trial, the case will be put to rest today when Magistrate Victoria Ghansah delivers the verdict of the court. Read Full Story
