Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has praised Mohammed Kudus for rediscovering his sharpness and influence in recent weeks, following the Ghanaian’s strong performance in Spurs’ 3-0 Champions League victory over Slavia Praha.
Kudus was again central to Tottenham’s attacking play, showing confidence and composure as he converted a second-half penalty to help secure an important win. His display continued a positive run of form after what Frank described as an early-season dip.
Assessing the winger’s performance, Frank highlighted three key improvements that have stood out. He noted that Kudus has regained his energy, acceleration, and decisiveness, adding that the attacker is now increasingly in sync with the rest of the team.
“Mo at the start of the season did well and then had a dip, and now the past three or four weeks he’s got fresh energy, acceleration and decisiveness in his actions,” Frank said. “Getting more in sync with the team, too, all that is important.”
Frank also reflected on the overall team performance, acknowledging areas that still need improvement. He said Slavia Praha’s threat in transition required Spurs to be disciplined, but believes his side can grow further in terms of control and consistency.
“The way Prague play, they will be a threat on transition, and you need to close that down,” he added. “I liked a lot from our performance, but I also think we can be much better in the future. Be more in control, but we’ve had four games in not many days.”
Tottenham’s win strengthens their push for qualification to the knockout stages, with Kudus’ return to top form arriving at a crucial moment in the season.
