Asante Kotoko staged a remarkable comeback to snatch a point against Medeama in a gripping Ghana Premier League clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Medeama stunned the home crowd with two early goals. Derrick Fordjour smashed home a brilliant volley inside five minutes before Yussif Mubarik doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 18th minute.
Kotoko responded strongly after the break. Peter Amidu Acquah pulled one back in the 69th minute, igniting belief among the Porcupine Warriors fans.
And deep into stoppage time, captain Samba O’Neil rose high to head in a dramatic equaliser in the 95th minute to complete the comeback.
The result means Kotoko are without a win in three matches, while Medeama missed the chance to go top of the table.
