Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed his satisfaction with the one point secured from their league fixture against Aduana FC on Saturday afternoon.
The coach and his Yellow and Mauve outfit played away to the Dormaa-based side in a Week 9 encounter in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Although there was a lot of quality on display, neither side could find the back of the net and had to settle for a goalless draw at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko praised the performance of his players, insisting that going home with one point was very good.
“I think we did very well. My team dominated from the first minute to the last, and it’s very unfortunate that the last free kick didn’t go in. But I’m very satisfied with the performance of my team today. Coming to Aduana and taking a point is very, very good for us,” Tanko said.
Following the draw with Aduana FC, Medeama SC remain second in the Ghana Premier League table with 17 points.
The team could drop out of the top four at the end of matchday 9, depending on the outcome of the other matches set to be played on Sunday afternoon.
