Ghanaian midfielder Richmond Lamptey has shared his excitement after completing his move to Libyan club El Ettihad Al Misraty.
The former Asante Kotoko captain signed a deal to join El Ettihad after leaving Rwandan giants APR FC.
Lamptey arrived in Libya on Tuesday and had his medical on Wednesday. The 28-year-old finalised the necessary formalities before putting pen to paper to complete the move.
Following his signing, he posted: "New home, new season. Let's go."
The attacking midfielder arrives with huge experience, having featured for WAFA, Inter Allies, Asante Kotoko and APR FC.
He is expected to play a huge role at El Ettihad Al Misraty in the new season.
Meanwhile, the club confirmed his acquisition alongside Zimbabwean defender Gerald Takwara on their social media pages as they prepare for the campaign.
"Zimbabwe defender Gerald Takwara and Ghana midfielder Richmond Lamptey arrived at Misurata International Airport from Istanbul Airport this evening, Tuesday, to complete the contracting procedures and officially join our first football team's preparations for the new season," wrote the club.
