Ghana coach Otto Addo completes squad announcement formalities ahead of World Cup qualifiers

When he finishes his squad, we have to inform the players' clubs. After that, he has to defend it at the management committee level. When we complete all these processes, if nothing happens, then we announce the squad. Luckily, we have exhausted all these processes. We are sure that by the close of this week, he will announce the team.Ghana is currently competing in Group I of the CAF qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside Mali, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Comoros, and Chad. The group winner will directly qualify for the World Cup, while the runner-up could potentially advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.The upcoming matches against Chad and Madagascar are crucial for Ghana's aspirations to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup. The team aims to improve upon their recent performances and climb to the top of the group standings.
