HSV coach defends Ghanaian Gideon Jung after attacks on social media

German second-tier side Hamburger SV coach Dieter Hecking has strongly defended Ghanaian midfielder Gideon Jung following attacks on social media. 

Jung has come under a barrage of attacks from fans on social media due to his unimpressive form in recent weeks.

"I don't care what is written on social media!" he says. “They can write what they want. I think Gidi sees it the same way."

“ I find it very presumptuous what some people take out who is probably 50 kg overweight and are sitting in front of the computer. They should just take a look at themselves. "

The 25-year-old has played 13 matches with no goals and assist this season.
