Former Dutch and AZ Alkmaar ace Demy de Zeeuw has advised in-form Myron Boadu to join Ajax next summer.
The 18-year-old has been linked with a host of top European sides following his impressive form for AZ Alkmaar in the ongoing campaign.
Ghana’s leading football portal, GHANAsoccernet.com reported earlier that the youngster could be on his way to AC Milan after Italian giants offered €20 million for his signature in the upcoming winter transfer window.
However, De Zeeuw believes Boadu would develop into a top-notch forward should he reject overtures for abroad and remain in the Netherlands with Ajax.
“Abroad is really very different. If you go from AZ to Ajax, that is also a big step, suddenly there is a lot more to it.”
“AZ does not seem to want to sell its top players (including Calvin Stengs, ed.) To the Amsterdammers:“ They are both so talented . They are going to take the next step for a lot of money and then probably take another step up for even more money.”
Boadu has clocked 15 goals in 23 matches in all competitions for AZ Alkmaar in the ongoing season.
