Ghana defender John Boye has been ruled out of FC Metz’s French Ligue 1 clash against Dijon though suspension.
The 32-year-old guardsman was on suspension tight-rope ahead of the Maroons match against Olympique Marseille last Sunday after picking up three cautions in their last three games.
He picked his fourth successive yellow cards in the 85th minute of the game for a reckless tackle as Metz hold the in-form Les Phocéens to 1-1 draw at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien.
Boye’s absence is one of many blows which could affect Vincent Hognon's men in their Saturday’s encounter against Dijon as players such as Malades, Marvin Gakpa, Ibrahima Niane and Thierry Ambrose missed the team’s morning training session at Frescaty.
Boye has made 15 appearances for the club in the ongoing season.
