Great Olympics coach Isaac Nii has made a bold statement ahead of the start of the 2019/20 season, insisting he will resign if his team does not collect 15 points from the first seven games.
Nii Armah says the club has targeted 15 points from the first five games, and he is very confident the goal can be achieved.
The Ghana Premier League returnees will play AshGold (away), Aduana Stars (home), Bechem United (away), Karela (home) and Elmina Sharks (away) in their opening five games.
”We want to win all the five matches at the start of the season," Nii Armah told Kweser Free Sports' Muftawu Nabila.
"We have named it “Operation 15 points” but then, if after the first seven matches, Olympics do not have the points needed to stay up in the league, I will resign because I want to keep my self-respect and dignity intact.
"I hope that it does not happen because I want to win the first five matches but then, in football, anything can happen.”
The Ghana Premier League begins on the weekend of December 27-29.
