Serie A side Empoli are ready to fend off competition from MLS sides to retain the services of Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
Acquah's deal with the Tuscan club runs out in June but Empoli have the option to extend his stay.
GHANASoccernet.com understands multiple Major League Soccer Club are interested and want to sign him before the primary transfer window shuts on 7 May, 2019.
Also, the secondary transfer window opens from 7 July- 7 August.
