Chester FC have reached an agreement with Tamworth for the permanent transfer of Ghanaian striker Akwasi Asante.
The 26-year-old completed a medical at the Swansay stadium on Monday.
The Blues finally have their man on a permanent deal after making their intentions clear since joining.
Manager Bernard Morley has confirmed the new deal.
"I’m led to believe he’s had a medical today. I don’t know how that’s gone. I’m hoping it’s positive and it’s done. If that’s the case, that’s the deal done and he’s then our player.
"One thing we can assure you is he’s fit to play on Saturday, if that’s the case and he will give us that platform. We’ve really got to push on now."
The Dutch-born Ghanaian has been a revelation since he joined the side on loan, scoring five goals in three games including a sensational hat-trick on his debut against Darlington.
