Techiman Eleven Wonders coach Enos Adepa has revealed how he played a key role in Asante Kotoko's signing of defender Ismail Ganiyu.
According to the former Wa All Stars gaffer, he recommended the ex-Karela United defender to the Porcupine Warriors, who were also considering another option.
Ismail Ganiyu joined the Kumasi based club from Karela United last month ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup adventure.
“Some Kotoko leaders asked me for my opinion on the player when they wanted to sign him and I offered a positive recommendation. There was another option the club was looking at and that player was a player I have coached too but I told them Ganiyu is the better deal.” Adepah told FootballmadeinGhana.com.
The 22 year old seems to have settled in the Asante Kotoko team, and is currently a starter for coach C.K Akunor.
”I trained him and I know what he can achieve with Kotoko. I have been hearing some positives news about him since he joined but I haven’t watched him but from what I hear I think he is doing well,” a proud Enos Adepah added.
