Ghana coach Bashiru Hayford missed out on a nomination for the CAF Women's Coach of the Year award following the abysmal showing at 2018 Africa Women's Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens failed to make it out of the group stage of the tournament despite being hosts.
Africa's football governing body on Friday announced the nominees for the 2018 Women's best coach best award which saw Hayford not included.
The list has the coaches of the two finalists of the Women's AFCON, Desiree Ellis (South Africa) and Thomas Dennerby (Nigeria) respectively.
The third-place play-off teams Cameroon and Mali also have their coaches Joseph Brian Ndoko and Mohamed Saloum Houssein nominated respectively for the coveted award.
Following Zambia's exploits in the tournament, head coach Bruce Mwape has also gotten a nomination.
Hayford would have been a nominee for the best Women's coach if the Black Queens had advanced from the group stage.
Despite Hayford's snub, the Black Queens have been nominated for Women's national team of the year award.
