Fortuna Düsseldorf manager Friedhelm Funkel has descended heavily on Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng after his sides 3-3 draw with the German giants.
The promoted Bundesliga side held the Bavarians at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, as the champions dropped two points to trail Burrossia Dortmund by 9 points after 12 games.
After the game, Friedhelm Funkel blasted Jerome Boateng for his poor performance on the day.
"Everything becomes easier for the rivals, it's the fault of the defense, which is very fragile, they have conceded 17 goals in 12 games, which are usually received in a whole season," said Funkel.
"They are very vulnerable, and no coach in the world should allow Boateng to play this way, he's in a bad position to run and avoid a duel with Lukebakio," he said of the German international.
Bayern Munich are now fifth on the Bundesliga table.
Meanwhile, reports in Germany suggest manager Niko Kovac could be shown the exit with Arsene Wenger set to succeed the Croat.
