Division one side Samartex have appointed former Bechem United coach Samuel Kobi-Mensah as their new manager.
Kobi-Mensah's appointment comes after coach Stephen Abugri decided not to extend his stay with the club following the expiration of his contract last month.
Samartex will hand the former Bechem United boss a two year contract with a task of guiding the side to premier league promotion.
A statement from Samartex on the appointment of Samuel Kofi-Mensah reads:
Fc Samartex name Samuel Kobi- mensah as head coach. 1996 fc Samartex is pleased to announce that Mr Samuel Kobi- mensah has agreed to join the club as it’s first team coach. In this capacity Samuel Kobi- mensah will be in charge of all the Technical aspect of the club. His rich experiences in the game as a player and a coach, his understanding of the Ghana Division one League, comfort with modern coaching and attacking football,make him the ideal fit.
Samuel Kobi- mensah will officially begin his 2- year contract on Tuesday ,27th November 2018.
