Former Ghana international Michael Essien has eulogized former Chelsea captain, John Terry, describing him as the one of the best players he has ever played with.
Terry officially announced his retirement from football after twenty-two years.
Essien played with Terry at Chelsea from 2005 to 2015 and won many laurels together.
On Sunday, the 35-year-old guardsman posted on Instagram saying, "After 23 incredible years as a footballer, I have decided now is the right time for me to retire from playing."
However, Essien has hailed Terry for his leadership qualities indicating that the former English man is one of the best players ever to play with.
