Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has joined the Black Stars squad for the first time in four years on Tuesday.
Asamoah is expected to trained with the team at their camp base in Addis Ababa ahead of Saturday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
The 29-year-old has been in self-imposed exile after recurring injuries hampered his career.
He has now regained full fitness and has put up impressive performances in their Serie A opener.
Asamoah is expected to bring his experience on board as the Black Stars seek a second consecutive win in the qualifiers.
Ghana made a bright start by thumping Ethiopia 5-0 at home.
