Kenya midfielder Francis Kahata is rallying support from his nation ahead of their must-win 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana on Saturday.
The Harambee Stars are aware only a win will revive their hopes of qualifying for the tournament in Cameroon next year.
The East African side are second from bottom in group F after losing 2-1 at Sierra Leone in their opening encounter.
And influential midfielder, who plays for Gor Mahia, Francis Kahata is urged the locals to turn up in the numbers at the stadium for the crunch tie.
“I don’t remember the last time we played at home but the support from the fans will be important for the players who will get the chance to don the jersey and hopefully, our fans will return home with a smile on the face if we pull a victory.” he said
The game against the much-fancied Ghana will take place at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.
