Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah was on target for AFC Wimbledon in their 3-1 defeat to Walsall FC in the English League One on Monday night.
Wimbledon are enduring a torrid start to the season after picking just one win in three games.
Neal Ardley’s men were hoping to bounce back their abysmal form when they welcome Walsall to the Kingsmeadow Stadium in Match Day 4.
But their hopes were dashed as goals from Kieron Morris, Andy Cook and an own goal from William Nightingale handed the visitors a 3-0 lead before Kwesi Appiah grabbed a consolation in the 87th minute.
Appiah was taken off in the 92nd minute of the match.
