Kwadwo Asamoah looks to be enjoying his pre-season with new club Inter Milan as he produced an excellent performance in the Italian giants 3-3 stalemate against Zenith St. Petersburg on Saturday.
The 29-year-old was handed a chance to play in midfield, a position he rarely featured at during his time at Juventus.
And he was up to the task as the Nerazzurri remained unbeaten in their preparatory games ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Antonio Candreva opened the scoring for Inter with a stunning strike in the 16th minute before Christian Noboa drew level for Zenith 9minutes later.
Icardi restored Inter's lead with a well-taken penalty. The lead, however, lasted 13 minutes as Zenith drew level again.
Hernani Azevedo Júnior shot Zenith into the lead for the first time with an incredible strike before Lautaro Martínez drew Inter back on level terms.
Kwadwo Asamoah made way in the second half of the game.
