Ghanaian forward Kevin Prince Boateng has emerged on the radar of Spanish La Liga side Levante UD, who are interested in bringing him back to Spain.
Levante's new sporting Director Luis Helguera is bent on making the Ghanaian his first signing at the club after working with him at Las Palmas.
Boateng, before returning to Germany had established himself as a fans favourite at the Island club where he finished the 2016/17 season as the club's top scorer.
However, he left based on personal reasons despite awarded with a three year deal. Meanwhile, in Germany where he signed for Frankfurt on a three year deal, the former Black Stars player played a key role as they won the DFB Pokal.
His future at Frankfurt is still unclear and Luis Helguera wants to use the opportunity to reunite with a player he has so much confidence in.
Mundo Deportivo in Spain reports, the Spanish club will have to negotiate with Frankfurt if they are to release Boateng.
