Belgian side KRC Genk have rubbished reports linking them to the signature of Ghana midfielder Nana Opoku Ampomah in the summer.
The 22-year-old was one of the key cogs for Waasland-Beveren in the regular season of the Belgian Jupilar Pro League.
He netted eight goals in 32 appearances for the Yellow and Blue lads as they finished the campaign in 12th spot - which has raised reports that he will be following former coach Phillipe Clement to the KRC Genk.
However, the Smurfs insists there are no truths to the reports linking the budding talent to their club.
Meanwhile, Turkish giants Besiktas have emerged as the front runners for his signature after an excellent season in Belgium.
Ampomah earned his debut call-up to senior national team of Ghana ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
