Ghana U17 female striker Mukarama Abdulai ended FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign as the top scorer following a stupendous campign.
Mukarama, 16, scored 12 goals in Ghana’s journey to qualify for another World Cup to emerge the top scorer of the qualifiers in Africa.
The budding talent who strikes for Northern Ladies got four goals against Gambia in the two legged-tie before scoring four goals in the first leg match against Djibouti a fortnight ago.
Mukarama, also bagged a double brace in the second leg of the qualifier against Djibouti to take her tally to 12 to emerge the top scorer.
Ghana blasted Djibouti an aggregate of 19-0 to secure a ticket to the World Cup to be staged in Uruguay this year.
Cameroon’s Marie Ngah scored 5 goals to become the second highest scorer in the qualifying campaign.
