Ghana Technology University College assumed top spot in the Southern zone of the 2017 Tertiary Football League following the completion of the opening group matches.
The Tesano-based University thumped Marshalls University College 4-0 to take a commanding lead at the summit of the table.
Ghana Technology remains the only side to pick maximum points so far after their impressive run against their opponents.
The University of Ghana and city rivals Accra Technical University both have a point each while Koforidua-based All Nations University College and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) are also locked on a point each.
Marshalls University College find themselves at the basement with no point after being clobbered 4-0 by Ghana Technology University College in their opening game.
The third week fixture will set up some enthralling fixtures as host University of Ghana take on All Nations University College in an explosive contest.
Accra Technical University College will also clash with whipping boys Marshalls University College in the second fixture.
