With an ambitious dream of becoming a world class coach after his short playing career, Bolga All Stars interim coach Baba Nuhu Malam believes his journey to greatness as a top class coach has started.
The intelligent coach was handed the herculean task of guiding the newly promoted side to escape relegation following the decision of the Northern Region FA president’s decision to take over the club.
Malam, a License A coach guided the side to pick their first point away at AshGold in a 1-1 stalemate after securing a similar score line against Asante Kotoko in his first game.
And he thinks his ambitious journey has started.
“The ambition of every coach is to be the best and I am not exempted. Though I am the technical director of Utrecht Academy, where our major objective is to develop players, I still aspire to coach a big club or team in the world,” he told GHANAsoccernet.
“I don’t think the Premier League division is the highest in the country for every coach. We all aspire to coach bigger clubs including national teams and I believe my journey has just begun,” he added.
Malam, until his appointment was the substantive coach and Technical Director of the Tamale Utrecht Academy.
