Class One Referee Moses Tandoh and his assistants have been praised for their high sense of professionalism and fairness by head coach of newly promoted Division One League side Bekwai Youth Football Academy, Abdul Rahman Yakubu, despite losing the game to the homes side.
Referee Tandoh, who was assisted on the lines by Abdulai Musah and Isaac Eshun, was hugely applauded by the visiting Bekwai-based side despite ending the game in a 1-0 defeat to the Dunkwa side in a game that was fairly contested.
"This is a real professional. He deserves to be commended. We must not always complain about bad officiating, the good ones also deserve a mention," Abdul Rahman told Ghanasoccernet.
"We lost the game but we lost fairly. Dunkwa United scored a brilliant goal and the defeat was a fair one.
"Despite all the intimidation from the home fans, he was resolute and professional in his decisions. All my players applauded him for his high standard and the home fans later praised him for his decisions," he added.
The newly promoted Bekwai side has enjoyed a bright start to their maiden DOL season with three wins, two draws and two loses so far.
