Hearts of Oak defender Vincent Atinga has sounded a note of caution to his teammates to remain resolute in their subsequent games in the Ghana Premier League.
The towering the defender has found a purple patch for the Phobians in recent games, and his solo penalty strike helped the side break their seven year winless jinx against their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in week 8 of the ongoing campaign.
The 24-year old guardsman has impelled his teammates to do away with complacency in their upcoming fixtures as they aim to break their league drought this season.
“We just have to forget about anything, is past a gone and we are looking forward,” he said in a chat with Ghanasportsonline.com.
“We must focus, the win was a good one and it has boosted our confidence, but the most important thing now is that we must focus on our remaining matches in the League.
“We will work hard to achieve our goal, every player is determined to help the club to the top."
The Phobians will hope to keep up from where they left off before the league went on break when they play as guest to Berekum Chelsea on Match Day 9.
