Former Ebusua Dwarfs coach J.E Sarpong has disclosed that the late Herbert Addo was owed by Hearts of Oak and other clubs in Ghana before his untimely death.
The 66-year old former Hearts of Oak trainer gave up the ghost on Friday following a short illness at the 37 Military Hospital.
And according to the outspoken Sarpong, his late colleague confided in him, before ill-timed demised.
He told Accra-based Class FM, “He [Herbert Addo] told me some months back that they [Hearts of Oak] owed him, and Inter Allies also owed him. Yes, he said, I think, GH?70,000 or something.”
Sarpong, however, expressed his sadness about his friend’s death but believes much could have been done when he was still alive.
