Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp plays full throttle in Crystal Palace huge win

Ghana defender Jeffery Schlupp lasted the entire duration in Crystal Palace's 1-0 home win over Watford which is a major boost in the club's relegation fight.

Schlupp was handed a rare start to replace injured Patrick van Aanholt as left back and he did not disappoint.

Watford striker Troy Deeney headed into his own net to gift Palace a third consecutive win in the Premier League.

The errant header proved enough to secure all three points in an otherwise cagey affair.

Crystal Palace are now four clear of the bottom three and took them up to 16th.

Schlupp, a January transfer signing, was making his sixth appearance for Crystal Palace.
