AshantiGold chief Kudjoe Fianoo denies club takeover by Forwardzone

AshantiGold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo has dismissed media reports that South Africa-based Forwardzone have bought the club. He rather explains that the two parties are close to agreeing a deal which will formally bring on board the online sports betting outfit Betway as their sponsors. ''We are in talks with Betway to sponsor the club but not to take over permanently as people are speculating,'' Fianoo told Graphic Sports in an interview.
