Accra, Nov. 27, GNA — The Right Reverend Dr Nana Anyani Boadum, General Overseer of the Jesus Generation Ministries, has urged the youth to work hard and uphold the values of integrity to succeed in whatever they do.
He said the youth should not allow themselves to be lured into immoral and criminal acts to satisfy the quest for money.
Rt. Rev. Buadum gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra.
He said self-discipline was needed to help transform the society and urged Christians, especially the youth, to lead the way by being modest, submissive and humble and respect the rule of law.
Rt. Rev. Buadum expressed worry over the growing waywardness among the youth and said all should join in efforts at turning them from evil.
He said the nation could not afford to allow her future leaders to ruin their lives through irresponsible and bad attitudes.
The Church, as part of its social responsibility, had been offering scholarships to brilliant but needy students to further their education.
He, therefore, urged the youth in the church to take their studies seriously in order to benefit from the scholarship.
