Accra, July 20, GNA – Brigadier General Michael Akwasi Yeboah Agyapong, Commander of the 37 Military Hospital, has called on workers of the hospital to maintain good relationships with patients as this was the core of their training.
“Good character is important because it will follow you wherever you go. How to talk, your demeanor, your attitude towards patients, depends on your character and this in turn determines your faith in the job,” he said.
Brig. Gen. Agyapong said this at a Thanksgiving Service held for him at the St. Michael Catholic Church after his 32 years of service to the hospital.
He urged workers of the 37 Military Hospital to trust in the Lord, adding; with God on your side, it would work for you as it did for me.
Brig. Gen. Agyapong urged Ghanaians to accept soldiers as their own and give them the respect they deserve.
‘’I give thanks to God for how far he has brought me and my family; 32 years wasn't easy, I never thought to become Commander; but with God all things are possible’’, he said.
Col. Paul A. Brewa (rtd), a Methodist Bishop, said Brig. Gen. Agyapong has been rewarded by God in his 32 years of service as Commander of the 37 Military Hospital because he had faith and trusted in God.
He urged all Christians to obey, trust and have confidence in God and their lives would never be the same.
