Accra, March 25, GNA - The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), has revealed stadia allocations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON), to be hosted by Egypt.
The group stages of the 2019 AFCON, would be played in six different stadia across the country.
According to CAF, Group A, which would include the host nation Egypt, would be based at Cairo Stadium in Cairo, which has the capacity of 74,100, whilst Group B matches would be played at Alexandria Stadium in Alexandria, with 13,660 capacities.
The Air Defence Stadium in Cairo with 28,500 capacity would host the matches in Group C, with the Group D matches scheduled at 30,000 capacity Al- Salam Stadium also in Cairo.
Group E matches would be played in Suez Stadium in Suez with 27,000 capacity, with Group F teams playing Ismailia Stadium, which has 18,525 capacity in Ismailia.
The Cairo stadium which has the largest capacity will host the opening game of the AFCON 2019.
