Takoradi, March 19, GNA - The South-West Business Zone of Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) has launched the 2019 MTN Twincity Fest to interact with customers and chart a new part for business growth and sustainability.
The month-long programme schedule, Mohammed Tuyiniba Yakubu, Acting Senior Regional Manager, said is to enable the company have a meaningful interaction and help them make an impact on communities through community projects.
He said, "We hope to have an exciting time in the region as we promote the rich culture of the communities in which our company operates".
Some of the activities for the festival would include: health screening, health walk, community/customer forum, retailer forum, media engagement and Momo forum amongst others, Mr Yakubu said.
The Manager said the company has taken steps to delight customers with services meant to brighten the lives of customers.
"It is my pleasure to inform you that MTN has introduced the 4G plus technology which is bringing faster speeds to users; we have rolled out more than 500 cell sites across the country and I am sure some of you are already enjoying the service," Mr Yakubu said.
The MTN Ghana Foundation Heroes of Change, he said, has received over 1,200 entries to identify people who are making a positive impact in their communities and honour them as heroes of change.
Mr Yakubu said the company was able to collect 4449 pints exceeding the target of 3500 pints in the recently held blood donation programme.
