Accra, March 7, GNA - The National Identification Authority (NIA) in collaboration with the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is undertaking a national identification card registration exercise for all journalists
The registration exercise which starts today, March 7th and ends on March 14th, at the Ghana International Press Centre, starts from 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours each day.
A press statement issued and signed by Mr Edmund Kofi Yeboah, GJA General Secretary and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra, said the GJA encourages members to participate in the exercise to acquire the National ID Card.
Members are requested to present the following documents and information for registration: for Primary requirements; either a Valid Passport or birth certificate.
The mandatory requirements are: digital address, members are encouraged to download Ghana Post GPS onto their phones and generate the address at the gate of their residence.
The secondary requirements are: Driver’s Licenses, Voter ID Card, SSNIT ID Card, National Health Insurance ID cards, TIN number; and house number.
The GJA members are told to provide the original document of all that is mentioned above.
