Accra, Jan. 25, GNA – Felix Quaye Larbi , also known in the music circles, as “King Maaga” has admitted making a wrong move in his career, after the “MTN Hit Maker” show, saying, “I taught I could make it in the industry, without any record label”.
In an interview with GNA Entertainment, the Highly Spiritual signee disclosed that, life was tough after the MTN Hit Maker show, five years ago, adding that, he wanted to be on his own after the show, but things became difficult.
The dance hall artiste, who was recently signed by Highly Spiritual, said, he was on the streets selling bread to make ends meet after the show.
“I taught I could make it on my own, after hit maker show, because I had become very popular, but it did not go my way.
“I had to sell corn dough and bread just to make a living, being on television and coming back to sell on the street was not easy for me,” he added.
He expressed appreciation to the record label for coming to his aid, during his difficult moments.
The Afro beat reggae dance hall artist has recently released his new single “Evergreen” and is currently receiving massive air play across the country.
