Accra, Jan. 20, GNA – The symbolic three-day prayer after the demise of a Moslem, known as Adua, was on Sunday performed for the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale, the undercover journalist who was murdered on Wednesday night at Madina in Accra.
The Adua, which preceded the recitation of the Holy Quran at his Family House, was attended by religious and opinion leaders, friends and sympathisers, the media fraternity, and representatives of political parties and government.
Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Siddique, the Member of Parliament for Madina, led the Government delegation whilst Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman and General Secretary respectively of the National Democratic Congress, led the Party’s delegation.
The funeral will also be held at Hussein-Suale’s Maternal Family House at Wulensi in the Nanumba North District and at the Paternal Family House at Nakpali in the Tatale District.
Mr Hussein-Suale was shot dead by some unknown assailants at Madina around the Taxi Rank Catholic Church on his way home.
He left behind two wives and four children.
