Accra, Nov. 21, GNA – Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe (29-1, 14 KO's), will take on Russia’s Vyacheslav Gusev (25-5, 8KO’s), on January 26, 2019, for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) International title and the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) International Lightweight title.
The bout, would be staged at the Bukom Boxing Arena, as Tagoe who is the reigning WBO Africa Champions begins his quest for a unification ahead of a world title shot.
Baby Jet Promotions have dubbed the bout "Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 2" as Ghana boxing fans would be thrilled with the finest of boxing, with the under-card bouts yet to be announced.
Tagoe, was superb in his last outing in the ring, as he defeated Namibia’s Paulus Moses (41-5, 25 KO's) in October to win the WBO Africa title.
