Though the Ghana News Agency cannot confirm the deaths, an eyewitness said three people, including a security man at the filling station received fatal burns during the explosion and they were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The filling station which is cited in the middle of a residential area, shares a fenced wall with a school, a church, a washing bay and several other commercial shops in an area between Krofoum and Tafo-Nhyiaeso.
