Tamale, Oct. 29, GNA - Madam Augustina Quainoo, the Supervisor of Tamale Children’s Home at the weekend appealed to the government and the public to help build a fence wall for the Home, to protect them from thieves.
According to her, the Tamale Children’s Home had only one security personal, which was not enough to secure the land and also protect the children.
Madam Quainoo made the appeal at a donation ceremony of Baodad Microfinance to Tamale Children’s Home.
Alhaji Amadu Montia, the Managing Director of Baodad Microfinance, indicated that the donation worth GH¢5,070.00, was part of the company 10th anniversary celebration and also to be used in assisting the less privileged in the society, especially children.
The items included 15 packs of soft care Diapers, 25 paste chairs and four boxes of Lactogen baby feed.
Madam Quainoo thanks the company for the gesture
She promised the items would be put to good used for the 25 orphan children.
