Ejura (A/R), Aug. 10, GNA - Mr Mustapha Ussif, the Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has paid a working visit to the Ejura Farms of the Scheme in the Ashanti Region.
The visit was to acquaint himself with activities on the 500 acre maize farm and to monitor the progress of work on the farm.
The delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr Salisu Bamba, Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Chief Executive and the Ejura Traditional Council.
Mr Ussif together with his delegation expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of Ejura for their continuous support to the Scheme.
He also assured them of his commitment to develop and expand the farm to the benefit of the municipality and the country.
The Executive Director and the entourage also expressed their joy over the state of the farm and assured the staff of their maximum support to ensure the farm expansion and growth.
He was accompanied by the Board Chairman, Professor Kofi Osei Akuoko and some members of the board including Mr Godfred Kwame Fosu Agyen, Nana Bediako Kyeremeh Ken and Mr Opoku Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Director of the Scheme.
