Koforidua (E/R), Aug. 08, GNA - Ordained Ministers of the gospel have been reminded that they are not exempted from temptations.
However, they are assured of the Grace of God who called them to his service to go through temptations successfully if they place God first in everything they do and are honest to God and themselves.
Venerable Jacob Nii Ayi Hammond, Administrative Secretary of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church reminded the clergy in a sermon at the ordination of three graduates of the St. Nicholas Theological College at Cape Coast and the Cape Coast University at the Koforidua St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral.
The three graduates who were ordained by the new Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rt. Rev. Felix Kofi Odei Annancy were Rev. Father Bismark Osafo Nyantekyi, Rev. Father Justice Nketia and Rev. Father Paa Kwesi Amissah Bentil.
Venerable Hammond urged the newly ordained priests to search for the marginalised, neglected and the deprived in their congregation, pray for them and assist them materially as well.
He urged the new priests to live by what they preach to their congregation and be examples for the congregation.
