Hampshire (United Kingdom), Aug. 4, GNA – His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has called on parents to exercise justice in their dealings with all their children.
He said the weakness of children must never be exposed in public while their dignity should be protected and respected.
His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, gave the advice during the ladies session at the 52nd Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Hampshire here in the United Kingdom.
The Annual event also known as Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK, is a unique event that brings more than 35,000 participants from over 100 countries.
The three-day event, which started on Friday, August 3 and would end on Sunday, August 5, is to increase religious knowledge and promote a sense of peace and brotherhood among Ahmadi Muslim.
He said it was wrong for parents to ignore the weakness of their children with the hope that they would reform themselves in the future.
He said if parents neglected their responsibilities towards the training of their children, they may lose them to the society and this would become irreligious.
The Spiritual Leader urged parents to progress in prayer every passing day and tell their children about the benefit of praying each day.
His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V said fathers should know that, they were role models to their children and should therefore live upright lifestyles.
He said if parents joined hands with each other in the proper upbringing of their children, these children would become true servants of the Gracious God.
“In order to have a righteous offspring, parents are required to set a high standard of righteousness,” he added.
He said: “Prayer, religious education and instilment of good morals were essential for the proper upbringing of children.”
He noted that the desire to have children should not merely be driven by natural instinct but should rather be to achieve the purpose of their creation.
A number of Parliamentarians, Civic Leaders and Diplomats from different countries would be addressing the gathering and underline the convention's objective of enhancing unity, understanding and mutual respect.
The highlight of the event would be a mass pledge of allegiance to the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslims, and that would commit his followers to an absolute devotion to peace.
His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, who is the fifth successor of the Promised Messiah benevolent leadership, provides the community with unity, guidance and direction, ensuring that it remains devoted to God and to the service of humankind.
The Jalsa features exhibitions about the community's international activities and other educational stands. Special guided tours are also available.
